I enjoyed my stay thoroughly, it was very clean and pleasant. The furnishing is new looking and adequate. The morning coffee is good too. I thought they had a self service laundry area but apparently they don’t. There is one that’s about 5 mins walk away from the Study. As far as I’m concerned it was perfect for a business trip.

Love this gem of a hotel in the heart of Yale university - classy, cosy and comfortable. The room was bright and spacious, and the beds were comfy too. Nice touch for them to offer free coffee in the lobby every morning, and the Heirloom restaurant at the hotel also offered decent brunch options. It's also super walkable to all of the key Yale landmarks, being a stone's throw away from the Art Gallery and a 5-min walk from New Haven Green. Great stay all in all!

I stayed at the Study this past weekend, and both my husband and son have stayed at previous times. I love this hotel! The management took good care to spend money where it matters and the furnishings are lovely. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The staff is helpful and cheerful. Other New Haven hotels talk about being close to Yale University, but the 10 minute walk is like going to another place altogether; the Study, on the other hand, is right in the heart of it all, but also is peaceful when you're in your room. The lobby is a happy, lively place, with a fantastic atmosphere. Most boutique hotels strive for this kind of environment but don't succeed. I will be back whenever I return to New Haven.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Study at Yale while attending an executive education program. The room was extremely clean and well equipped and offered a nice view. The staff was courteous and the Heirloom restaurant had a beautiful ambiance as well as great food. Highly recommend!

What a lovely little hotel. And the staff could not be kinder And we got in it was around midnight and an issue occurred with my credit card and they were so gracious about working with me so we could get in our room and I could solve the issue with the credit card the next day a large chain would never do that The hotel itself is lovely. It is so clean and really cozy and has a really comfortable vibe. If you were going to yell the location is excellent. It’s a five minute walk two minute drive to Ezra Stiles. There is a Dunkin’ Donuts two stores away, which is convenient for a coffee Fix, but I must say the room service is excellent because the restaurant in the hotel is great And the prices are unbelievable. It was less expensive for me to order room service that it is for me to order Postmates at home.. I had a couple of different choices of where to stay, and I’d never been to New Haven before, They do have their own parking which was the tipping point over 2 other hotels that had good reviews. It’s valet and There is a daily charge, but you can leave and return as many times within that fee And it’s incredibly convenient and the valet is really efficient. I would prefer to pay for that then trying to find parking and understand meters and tickets in another city. Overall i made The right choice And the study will be my hotel when in New Haven.

Great hotel. Centrally located on the Yale campus and it is convenient to walk to the university. Price was high. Good quality furniture and linens.

It's my second time there. Great boutique hotel with very cute and Charming decor. The staff was phenomenal extremely friendly and welcoming. Again take your time to enjoy some of the small details this hotel has to offer.

Great experience overall. Easy, convenient location for what we were looking to do in New Haven. Staff was helpful, professional, and kind. Rooms were perfect for our needs with plenty of space and light. We would definitely stay here again when in New Haven. Front desk also gave us several great recommendations for apizza and ice cream.

The Study and Heirloom are a home away from home for myself. The staff is incredible (like family). The other patrons and guests are always engaging.

A gem of a boutique hotel right on the campus of Yale University. Very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms and an on-site restaurant whose food was absolutely excellent! Valet parking was reasonable and efficient! Touring the bucolic grounds of Yale campus was a mere 1 block away. We would definitely stay again.
